I was just watching Glenn Beck talk about the Pumpkin Tax in Iowa. Basically, retailers are expected to ask you if you are going to use the pumpkin you are buying for food or decoration. If it's for decoration, you get taxed. If not, you have to fill out an exemption form.

{Pumpkins are exempt in the following circumstances:* The buyer completes a sales tax exemption certificate stating they will be used as food, or* The pumpkins are a specific variety used to make pumpkin pies and are advertised in that way, or* They are purchased with Food Stamps.}
We pay property tax, sales tax, income tax, gasoline tax, sin tax, and more. It's time to take a stand. In the spirit of the Boston Tea Party....

One more question. What if you bought it for decoration, but a squirrel used it for food? This is what happened to me. Would I get a tax refund?

Iowa Pumpkin tax, Typical Democrat thinking. Next Hillary will be taking credit for it.
Good point. What's next...taxing candy? If you are buying it to distribute to kids, pay a tax. Where does it end?
