What is GMA Thinking?

My Twitter & Facebook friend Eric Alper made a great comment today. Good Morning America canceled the Adam Lambert appearance over his man-on-man kiss at the American Music Awards.

They've replaced him with Chris Brown.

So let's see if I get this.....

Kissing a man = bad.

Beating your girlfriend = good????

ABC gave this reason for canceling Adam's performance: "given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."

I wonder why GMA thinks it's such a wonderful idea to help a man convicted of felony assault on his girlfriend sell more albums so early in the morning?

How can you replace one controversial artist with another?

May I suggest that someone on staff there utilize Billboard.com to find other artists with upcoming CD releases? There are lots of artists to choose from.
