Wendy Piersall of http://sparkplugging.com/ spoke to George's Entrepreneurial Finance class at the U of I last night. She was fantastic! What I love about Wendy, is her willingness to share the lessons she's learned, and even the mistakes she's made with her company.
One tip she gave that I thought was very valuable...don't put all your revenue eggs in one basket. What happens if that avenue dries up? What if changes are made that affect that revenue stream?
I also thought it was funny that she had to explain to this group of college students what Twitter was! They were intrigued. Now to teach them about Utterli!
