I am so hooked on this Discovery Channel series. It fascinates me! I think the "controversy" here is petty.
These guys are in dangerous situations all the time. Just because a scene where a storm results in flooding on a boat may have been spliced together from 2 seperate incidents, doesn't mean the job is any less perilous.
Plus, have you seen the insane hours these guys work? They'll show just a couple minutes of work on a deck, and then mention that these guys continued on for 36 hours straight.
I've decided that if I were ever to go into that line of work, I would want to work on The Northwestern for Capt. Sig Hansen. I like him. He's tough, he's profitable, and kinda cute.
Too bad I hate most seafood...especially crab!
